Our church accepts everyone regardless of what they wear. The women wear skirts or dresses at least knee length. But not everyone does this. Our church believes women should dress like a lady, and men like men. No one cares though if you come in jeans.

The church I belong to does not have a dress code. Some days I go to church in a dress or nice slacks and blouse. Other days I go in jeans and sneakers. The rule I keep when dressing for church is to always dress modestly. You wouldn't want your hot little red skirt to cause a man to lust at you in church, ya know? Some churches have very strict rules about dress code. It is my humble opinion that clothes have NOTHING to do with the heart. I belonged to a church for 2 years that insisted women wear no makeup, no jewelry, and no pants. If they had long hair, it had to be pulled back. This was supposedly more spiritual. I felt it to be a constraint that taught me nothing about how to live spiritually in a world governed by flesh. God looks upon the heart. Once you get to know God and how He feels about you, you will WANT to dress in a manner that is pleasing to Him. No preacher or man should tell you when that is or how you should be dressing. Keep looking to God for direction and lean towards modesty if you're ever questioning a particular outfit. Be blessed!

No. I dress in a way I personally feel is appropriate (no one tells me how to dress). For me, that means I don't dress like I am going to a night club or lounging around the house, but as if I were going to an office. Dressy, but not over the top. Other people are comfortable dressing more casually and that is okay, too. The most important thing is that you are there celebrating your beliefs.

Every church is different. In my church it ranges from dresses to tight jeans and inappropriate logoed shirts. I have a personal dress code, which is what I feel is appropriate for me. My code is no sneakers or jeans or inappropriate shirts.

Wear what you feel comfortable in while entering "God's House".

No we don't at the church I attend. Clothes should not matter but some demonitations do get caught up in a dress code, and will ridicule you if you don't measure up. But my question? Does God care about what you wear or does he just care about you I believe that if you really give your life to Christ, he will teach you what is appropriate to wear and what not to wear.

There is no specific dress code! We're just told to dress modestly, although my church seems to have forgotten that! But I cover up no matter what!

Yes, as long as it is not A mini skirt that barely covers your booty and A shirt that looks like your girls are about bust out of it. Sometimes I go in desent jeans and A blouse and other times I go in slacks, heels and a blouse it depends on how I feel or if I'm late waking up to go.

It depends what church, I really didn't like going to church feeling like I had to dress up reel fancy, if that sounds like you find a more casual gathering.

I am an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian, and we wear white scarves on our heads, to cover our hair when we enter church, also we wear long skirts to cover our butts and legs, so we arent destracting any men, since people are coming to church to worship God, not to pick up chicks, lol.

Dress in such a way that you could imagine yourself meeting Jesus Christ himself and not feeling the need to tug at your hem or cover up a little more. Would He be pleased with you?
