Like everyone I have stress in my life. I'm in between high school and college and am I little strapped financially. I've also just bought my first horse and can't keep my mind off of him and questions about him. It is a stressful situation but nothing outrageous. I just can't calm down. I've barely been able to eat and have constant head aches. I try to relax but nothing seems to help. From the moment I wake up until I sleep my heart races with stress and nerves. Any ideas as to how to calm down?

As odd as it may seem, BREATHE! Taking deep breaths will help you calm down.

Horses are expensive so would you consider selling your horse until you are better able to afford to own one. If so, that will cut the stress a lot. Try to use deep breathing to relax. Also exercise will definitely help to cut the stress. If these things don't work then definitely see a doctor and get some help.
