Ok, so recently they weather were I live has been colder then it's been for a while and my hands have become extremelly dry. I feel like today alone, I have been putting lotion on my hands at least 20 times. Does anyone know of a good lotion or something that would actually work so that I don't have to continuelly be putting it on?

Buy some rubber gloves. Put every night lots of vaseline or olive oil on your hands, and then put your gloves on. Its marvelous!

Lotion is great for your hands, ask the pharmacist which they recommend. They are your best source for information.
Also, when you put the lotion on, put a pair of rubber gloves (like dishwashing gloves or the gloves you get from a hospital) over your hands.
People commonly rub the lotion all the way in - that's not how lotion works. In order for it to work, it must be ABSORBED into your skin, not rubbed until it's dry.

Try putting lotion on (with your hands still very "wet" with lotion, a good amount) then cover with the gloves. Take them off about 30 minutes later and y ou'll notice a definite difference. Try that a few times per day and voila!! Nice, soft hands.

Good luck.

I have the best lotion for extremely dry hand. It is made by a company called beauticontrol. The lotion is called extreme hand repair. You do not have to apply this lotion all the time. It lasts through many washes. I love this lotion and it is the only thing that works for me.
