Prior to downloading this new version of IE, I could access PDF pages. Is there some setting in IE that I'm not seeing? Could it be my Norton that is causing this? Thanks!

Since you have acrobat and foxit installed, IE7 should open pdf inside browser with their plugin. Now, which one you have as deafult pdf program? Adobe or foxit? I recommend setting foxit as default.

First try resetting websetting of IE to defaults. Go to properties of internet explorer, then in advanced tab, reset websettings to default. Set other things to default too.
Close IE and restart gain. It should fix things.

If not, I recommend reinstall IE7. You can simply remove it and reinstall.

As an alternate choice, I recommend Opera as the alternate broswer. it is the best and best security track record(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_browsers#Vulnerabilities).
Get opera from www.opera.com.

After installing IE7, I had to reinstall Active X, Windows Auto Update, Menu Bar under Tools, and Norton Spyware Scan on the Yahoo Tool Bar. Adobe PDF Reader will not work without Active X. Have had IE7 for several weeks now and everything seems to work well. Speed is back to normal after Automatic Website Checking was turned off .

Tools, Internet Options, Go to the Program Tab, at the bottom, Manage Ad-Ons, See if Abobe PDF is added and active. If not, click on the link, download ad-ons, go to Microsoft's site, search Adobe Reader in search bar and download.

it particularly is user-friendly. while the adobe acrobat 5.0 communication field open and the internet internet site is seen. you may locate the photograph of floppy disc under the menu bar. any opposite direction is bypass to record then decide on shop as. After the shop as communication field open enter the record call then shop it. this is the technique.
