They serve the same purpose as tattoos, branding & other piercings. They are used to show a persons individuality, so they get all of this done to look like everyone else!!!!

Well, I've had my tongue peirced since I was 18....so..for about years now. At first I got it to impress all my friends, like hey...look at the pain I endured. But honestly, the pain wasn't all that bad. Then as time went on..guys would always tell me, I've never been with a girl that has a tongue ring. What a cheesy pick up line huh? I always hated that. Then everyone started getting it done and it was no big deal anymore. Some people still ask me about it, but I can tell you that my boyfriend loves it. It does help for sexual purposes especially if you get it cold n hot. I guess you could call it Oral Condensation??? Honestly though, It doesn't make me feel any better or worse in sexual situations. It's all based on opinion. So all the all, the whole objective of having one I suppose is for looks and attention. Hope this helps.

I LOVE when a guy has a tongue ring, however I don't like it for any sexual purposes, I just like it when a guy has it.

to be cool,

they sat it helps with oral sex but me and my boyfriend have one and we cant tell the difference

i thought it was a cool thing to do when i had it. other people thought it was sexual but it wasnt for me.
