I had a 2 years resident card from marriage. I applied for the permanent G.Card & my pettion was denied due to insufficient proof. My 2 year resident card has expired. Could i apply for extention & file again ?

You can reapply. However you are what they consider an overstay.

INS always deport the illegal immigrants in the US. They must be considerate and give leeways to those who have chances of legalizing their stay in the US just like you.
