It's only weird depending on how you define 'weird.' Unusual? Probably, but not as much so as some may think. Bad in any way? Of course not. Height shouldn't really be an issue for relationship potential. If you get along well, and can compliment him with things like 'sweet' and 'funny,' then go for it, and enjoy it if it works out.

Just kick back, relax, and see what happens. There is nothing wrong with a guy being smaller than the girl. What counts is how you feel about each other and that is all. I am 6 ft tall and large boned, I married a man 5'6" and medium frame. Who cares what society thinks as long as the 2 of you are happy with each other. Even though I am no longer married to him we remain friends, and neither of us care what society thinks to this day.

In most cases, this size difference means more to a guy than to the girl. The guy usually wants to be a little "bigger" than his girl, I guess its just a part of the whole protector role...anyhow, if it doesnt bother you and it doesnt bother him, then you shouldnt let it get in the way of a great relationship. Now, if he is hesitant and seems like he feels awkward about the size difference, you will have to feel him out. For some guys, they will get over it and be happy with you and not even focus on the size...for other guys, they wont be able to let go of this and the relationship may suffer as a result. Go out with him and see how it feels! As long as you are in a happy relationship, size shouldn't matter :) Also, its natural for a girl to want a guy who is bigger than her!

It is really weird, yet so many folks seem to worry about it. You're just making a big deal out of nothing. If you two get married and you gain some weight, I sure hope he isn't as concerned about your size as you are about his......And no, that's not different....If you have to ask strangers what they think about it, I'm sure you have already given your "shorter than you boyfriend" a complex about it. Nice going!

I think all kinds of people make this a big deal, when it's not. My boyfriend is about a couple inches shorter than me, and we've been fine for 5 years.... I don't think it's a rule that the boy must be taller or bigger than you for you to love him. Screw what everybody thinks, if you like the guy and he likes you, then that's great...

Its not a big deal if you are both attracted to each other and care about each other. I'm kind of a big girl myself, and I'm actually taller than a lot of the guys I've dated. It will probably feel awkward for a little while, but you'll get used to each other.

You are getting off on women being bigger than men, a form of femdom displayed in bdsm relations.
Some part of you is thrilled in having a smaller man. Because you, as woman, are superior.
You may love and be happy, but the thrill you get is in some way based on this.
Women love power, just like men.

I think you shouldnt think about how you and the guy look like together - main thing is that you like that guy , and that he likes you...!
Btw there are many couples where the guy is shorter and smaller than the girl. Not a big deal....

If you each really care about each other it shouldnt really matter. If you make the move, then he probably wouldnt see size as an issue, seeing that youre just as interested, even with you being taller.
