I am looking for a credit card that has a 0% APR on balance transfers for the life of the transfer, preferably with not balance transfer fee. I have searched MANY sites and only found 0% for the first 6, 12 or 15 months then the regular APR (usually like 15% or so) from that point on. Can anybody recommend a card that will do this?

I do not receive offers through the mail...I signed up to stop receiving those (figures that as soon as I do I would like to have one lol). My credit rating is excellent, so I should have no problems getting almost any card.

Most of the answers above are spot on. (there is no free lunch)
1. you either get a 0% deal on balance transfer for a fixed period - 12 months is a good deal.
2. Or you get a fixed rate (above 0%) for the life of balance. Many American Express Cards have the fixed rate for life of balance offer. In fact, they are actually the one that started this. Examples of amex cards that offer fixed rate for life of balance are :
1. Blue
2. Blue Cash
Both give you a 0% apr on purchases and 4.99% apr on balance transfers for life of transfer.

Those offers will only come via the mail from a company that likes your excellent credit report and payment history.
Yes..they are offered, I get them all the time...0% for the life of the LOAN - till the balance transfer is paid in full.
You should opt back in and they will start sending them....they figure if you get that type of deal from them they will keep you as a customer....most of those offers come with a 4.99% to 5.99% regular rate too. Maybe just keep transferring to 0% for 12 mo. and the previous companies might send you one of the 0% for life offers

I got a great deal from Washington Mutual: 0% interest on balance transfers for a year with a 3% fee.
I doubt you will do better than that.

I think Providian does and maybe Chase...be careful with Chase.. they really screwed us up. It was set up online to do auto payments and they failed to take it out (THEIR FAULT), then they added the late fees and upped our interest rate 15%...so I would check everywhere else first..I had providian and they had some like what u are wanting I think...was a while back. Never heard of the life of the transfer. They'd lose money on you, so I doubt it'll happen. Just move it to the lowest fixed rate you can get and pay it off asap.

You aren't going to find that because no credit card company is going to finance your debt while you take your own sweet time paying it back. Take the longest amount of time you can find, 15 months is actually very generous, so take that one.
