we cut down trees to get wood, so how long is it from we plant trees to the time when we can cut them down?

i hope your a 3 year old that plans to live for a 100 years because trees are usually cut down at 100 years old for decent lumber

It depends on the type of tree & the kind of wood you want.

There a trees that you could cut for fire wood or pulp in aroubd 20 years.

If you want timber for building lumber you are talking 40 to 60 or more years.

Depends on the species of tree, the productivity of your site, what you want to use the wood for, and how excited you are about having planted them.
