I have Albuterol sulfate solution and pulmicourt resoules... they expried a few months ago.. can I still use it?

no.....because they are expired! Why is this so very difficult for people to understand?

Expired Pulmicort

Pulmicort respules are mainly for pediatric patient, so if you're an adult you should be on pulmicort turbuhaler. At any rate, what are we talking here? 3 months or less? Neither albuterol, nor pulmicort , turn into anything dangerous. They do lose their potency though. They are OK to use, but replace them as soon as you can, especially the albuterol, since it's a rescue ihhaler.

Most medications are effective and safe well beyond their expiration dates. It's pretty easy to tell if the albuterol is good since it ordinary produces an immediate effect to improve breathing and increase heart rate. Pulmicort's effects are more subtle.

call your pharmacy, dont take any chances, especially since you could all of the sudden need it for sure. Don't wait around just ask your pharm tommorow.
