----------------
In terms of lives, not many Tsunami victims who have lost their lives in the village, but in terms of assets/properties, many are totally destroyed.

First, it's not a complete sentence, although it would be one (not a great one) if you took out "who".

There's nothing wrong with the phrase "in terms of lives", but it's redundant here, coupled with "lost their lives".

This is better, if you want to keep "in terms of":

In terms of lives lost, the tsunami claimed few victims in the village, but in terms of assets and properties destroyed, it was devastating.

If you don't need the "in terms of":

Not many villagers lost their lives in the tsunami, but many assets and properties were totally destroyed.

The sentence is very awkward, needs to be more clear and concise. I'd get rid of "In terms of lives" completely and just say Many of the Tsunami victims' assets/properties were totally destroyed.

Use key words, such as "terms" and "lives," only once in your sentence. Replace them with synonyms.

You may choose to use the following alternative:

In regards to lives lost in the Tsunamis, many victims that died lost their entire assets and properties.

Avoid using slashes that mean and or in formal writing.

this non-sentence makes no sense in any way: it should have read; "in terms of lives, not many were lost in the Tsunami, but in terms of assets/properties, many were totally destroyed".

"in terms of deaths". You're talking about their deaths, not their lives
