Try going to a chiroprctor regularly. Also try heating and icing your back regualrly...off and on. Try not strain it too much, and realx a lot. dont lift heavy object, or bend over to pick things up. Bend at the knees when lifting things. Also Sit strait.....and dont lean in your car seat. Sleep with your feet slightly elavated, and support under your back. Have a friend help you carry heavy objects. Dont reach for things, use a ladder.
Hope your back feels better soon.

You need to make sure you exercise regularly, and start taking Omega 3, 6, and 9. Take this everyday along with something called MSM. Try to eliminate the reasons your back pain is triggered as well. You should not sit around in one place, you shouldnt wear the wrong kind of shoes, or even the same ones for an entire day. You should also make sure you are sleeping on the proper support.

It's tough to tell you exactly what to do without knowing exactly what is causing the pain. However, by far, the most common cause is degenerating inter-vertebral discs. Chronic pain of this sort will get worse and worse as you get older until a disc finally prolapses, giving you the most horrible pain imaginable.
The best way to treat this condition is with something called Cox Distraction Technique. Most doctors certified in this technique are chiropractors. Find one in your area and make an appointment to get evaluated and diagnosed.

1. yoga; take an intro class. your back hurts because of how you use your body and your muscles. if you get the muscles strong it will hurt less
2. sit less. walk more.
3. start walking 2-3 miles a day. it will make your back stronger.
4. take pilates, it strengthens the muscles that support your back
5. go to a physical therapist. they will tell you: engage your abs and that relieves the stress on your back that is making it hurt.
physical therapists teach people how to walk/move to eliminate back pain all the time. you should use your multifadae instead of extensors.
6. i dont' recommend surgery or the traditional medical route.
try these natural methods first. you can change your body. i did it.

Hard to say without knowing what's causing it. Have you had an MRI or back x-ray indicating the source of the problem? If not, I can only recommend Motrin or Aleve.
