I have a VERY HECTIC career. I work five days a week and most days its 12 13 hour shifts. On the weekends I end up being so exhausted from the week that I just sleep and laze around. I dont really even want to dress up & go out. One night stranger started banging on my door after midnight. I freaked out and called the police because it wasnt just a regular knock. Of course I looked like CRAP to put it lightly. I look totally different with and without makeup and to make it better I had on a baggy sweatshirt and a pair of pajama pants that would fit a three hundred pound man. My hair looked like a rats nest & I had no makeup on. The CUTEST police officer showed up and he was looking around my apt and staring at my degree hanging on the wall. Impressed with my place probably but not with me. The next evening I remembered something I had to add to the report so I called them back looking as ugly as the night before .same cop. he's single. im interested. how do I reverse his impression

LOL dont worry you can. Be sure you you want an interest though... he IS a police officer. Just show up with the details as pretty as can be. ; p Apologize if you were being rude (your were just tired and scared) see where it takes you! If it doesn't work out though, dont stress, he could get in trouble for it for all you know.

Bring him a piece of pie, cake, fruit--a care basket even and say thank you to him for helping you. Tell him how scared you were and how you work so long and hard and were so unnerved by the whole sitiuation that you forgot your manners. Then claerly and assertively give him your phone number. Good luck girlfriend!

I think that more importantly than how you looked is how you acted. If you were pleasant, you made a good impression. I'm sure he understood that you were just resting, no one looks good all the time.

i think the best thing to do is "bump into him" on purpose looking effortlessly cute and say hi officer_____. tell him you're interested in taking a self-defense class...in other words, get him talking about something he likes....you'll be fine!
