Panasonic plasmas are very good for their price. Excellent picture quality, good contrast, true black color. If you have a costco nearby, the 42" panasonic plasma is going for about $1800 and the 50" is going for $2400 right now.

Well I am a seller on ebay and I have a few flat panels available. So if you will, go to ebay and click on COMMUNITIES at the top. Then, next to the "find a member" button, type in uptown_apparel and click the button. You will see that name at the top of their list and to the right of it click on "seller's items". There are 4 tv's there that i am selling but the 32 inch is currently unavailable so maybe there's something else there you like. click on the items for all the details. You can email me at uptownapparel@yahoo.com about these items. Good luck!

I just bought a 32' Vizio LCD. I know you said 42-52' range. Anyway, the Vizio is amazing. It was $700, and it looks just as sharp as Sony's and other high-end brands that cost about twice as much. It also has two HDMI inputs, which is nice.

Samsung's DLP.

Lightweight, no burn in, incredible picture, very inexpensive, and has models that are available in 1080p, which is a ridiculous amount of picture.

The prices have dropped impressively, too. That's what I'd buy if I was buying today.
