i have never had an allergy test done before. and i was wondering if my symptoms could mean im allergic to some foods.. every time i eat i get real sick to my stomach, and cramp really bad. cramp enough to vomit, and then i get diarriah with it as well. its mainly like pancakes, biscuits things like that, that make me sick... and it seems like it gets worse every day. so if i do have food allergies, then is it possible for them to get worse every day?

That totally sounds like a sensitivity to gluten, like in Celiac Disease or a wheat allergy. Biscuits and pancakes have a very high level of gluten (wheat, barley, rye, or oats). Celiac Disease can be tested for with a simple blood test. If you don't want to go to the doctor, try removing all gluten from your diet and see if you feel better. Check out www.Celiac.com and www.glutenfreeforum.com for more information on Celiac Disease. Celiac can cause abdominal cramping, vomitting, diarrhea, cold sores, skin rash (Dermatitis Herpetiformus), depression, constipation, fatty stools, mood swings and/or disorders, anemia, malnutrition, etc... There are a ton of symptoms and your description fits Celiac Disease to a T.

It sounds exactly like you have some kind of allergy or intolerance. And its definately something you're going to want to get checked out NOW, before it starts to get more complicated. If it is Celiac (gluten intolerance that causes intestinal damage), you could be causing irreversible damage and setting yourself up for some major problems later on in life. If it is an allergy, then you might find it getting worse to the point of you not being able to function.

I recommend that you get an entire Celiac panel done as well as food allergy testing. RAST is pretty worthless in my experience, so I'd go with either skin prick testing or with an Immunolabs IgE food panel or the ImmunoCap food panel.

Pay attention to any foods that show up as possible allergens, not matter how small the reaction. Watch your diet and keep a food journal of what you eat, at what time, and any reactions you notice. Even if its blowing your nose, acne, gas, minor itching, etc. Reactions don't have to be immediately lifethreatening to be an allergy, they just could turn out to be that way at any time.

The following link has more to do with corn allergy/intolerance but I think it will give you a clearer understanding of what is an allergy vs what is intolerance.

I'm not sure this is actually an allergy, but it certainly is a sensitivity. And since bread products are doing this, you might want to get tested for Celiac disease, or gluten sensitivity.

Good luck

I do agree with angie15 it sounds like a Seliac
Disease. Try to have gluten free food for at least 2 weeks If that pain stops that means your allergic to gluten.
