it sounds like it could be a number of things: mono, allergies, sinus infection, the flu. the flu or mono can last for weeks. are you running a fever? have you switched in meds or over the counter meds? you could try seeing another dr in the same practice or some practices have nurse practioners or MA's. i hope you feel better soon!

It sounds like you have mononucleosis, or commonly called "Mono". This is a common virus among highschoolers, and college students. I work in a university clinic and we test for this all of the time. Go back to your doctor, or another one for a second opinion and ask for a Mono test. It's a fingerstick, and the blood is put on a kit like a pregnancy test. It's that simple. The reason why I believe this is what you have is because the most common symptoms are chronic sore throat and exhaustive tiredness. And, this can actually last for up to 6 months. Go get a blood test. Hope this helps.

No, your toddler would be ok. do no longer take something to your chilly without consulting your clinical professional. I had 4 infants and in no way fails... consistently had a chilly or flu. i replaced into purely able to take Tylenol. Get some relax, consume some rooster soup and drink orange juice and quite some beverages. get extra constructive!
