I started doing this when I had a head-cold and I think I sleep better this way. It's a soft chair but not a recliner.

Well, before this week I would say it's terrible for your back. But after they said this week that 'slouching' is better for your back than keeping your back straight; I have to say that you should probably consult those guys who said that this week!

Try a bed!

My wife sleeps in a chair a lot.

But as you get older blood collects in your legs during the day & it is a good Idea to lay flat or with your feet up a little.

I've gotten some of the best rest in my chair due to some pains.
But it's not healthy to sleep in a chair long term. you have to watch your back.

It's good to elevate your head if you have post nasal drip but you shouldnt make it a permanent place to sleep because it could cause back problems over time.

your body needs to lie in order to rest. yes it's important for your backbones and for the quality of your sleep as well.

Why not? As long as your neck isn't twisted and sore from being bent in an unnatural position.
