While I don't hate it as a SHOW and ENTERTAINMENT, because I'm an animation buff myself.
I do hate how people (especially kids) ACTUALLY think that the "magic" techniques and things they show the characters doing or performing (like the use of "chakra" and creating energy for attacking an opponent) can be performed in REALITY, which is totally untrue. when all it is the ARTISTIC EXPRESSION of the animators to emphasize the action in the storyline.
it puts an unneccessary burden on the people who actually study Martial Arts, and I also think that it's an insult to Martial Arts in general that these people (again especially kids) think that if they study a Martial Art (in the case of Naruto it's Ninjitsu), they'll be able to do something like that.
other Animation shows and video games are equally as guilty, but it all begins with the PARENTS making sure that their kids know the difference between FANTASY ENTERTAINMENT and REALITY.

What they teach is team work, care for your friends, and that kind of stuff, which I don't think it bull.
I'd laugh at the person who told me that they can do magic things like Naruto....What they're doing is controlling the energy of their bodies, also known as qi, but you can't create fire and lightning with it but you could do other things like maybe running up a wall or something, but that will take many many years of training and focusing, which people of today can't do. We just don't have the power to focus on our bodies and listen to the flow of our qi.
It's an anime, an entertainment program. Any person who believes everything they watch to be real needs counselling.
