Hm.. I could eb that he simply missed the times when you two are in personal communication.. I mean person-to-person talk. It could be he's simply saying it because he does think you are bautiful.. A compliment.. Nothing more so don't simply jump into conclusions that a guy like you because he complemented you..
I have this guy friend and we haven't had any comminucation for almost 7 years then we found each other on Friendster.. We talked, echanged compliments but we're friends and that's it..
Just let your friendship as is.. If he does like you, he'll admit it and takes another step higher than friendship.. It takes time.. Bwe patient and avoid jumping into conclusions ^-^

You didn't exactly complete your first question, Britney, but I know what it is. Yes, men like me, mean it. Other men- not all men do. It's my guess, that when he said, "I don't know what else to say", he meant I don't know how to explain, and I don't know what more to say. you could keep asking him the same question and he, keep answering, until you're both red, blue or even purple in the face. But why bother? I suggest, however, that you ask him, if what I said, is what he meant.

Maybe he just told you you're beautiful because you are, and meant nothing else by it. Some time it may just be hard to know what exactly to say. That may be the case, don't read too much into it.

I only say somebody is beautiful if I think so.
I might stretch the truth a little to be nice or avoid hurting somebody.
I would only say it if I really thought so.

it depends...some guys have a glib tongue and say things that will melt your heart even though they may not mean it. how well do you know him? are you interested in him? well if you are, then get to know him better and sees what it goes from there. anyway, even if he likes you, it will be based on physical outlook and do you want that? Or do you want a guy to like you for who you are...
