What a fantastic question . . . .

Strength is . . . an inner power one has to endure difficult situations.
Strength is physical power as well.
Strength is also confidence in personal convictions (power of the mind).

I don't feel like I'm doing the word justice.

It depends. There is physical strength and there is strength of character, strength of spirit. The first type of strength is easy to gain. The second and third are usually obtained through hard life lessons and persevering through adversity.

Well since the catergorie you put it in I think you are meaning like Gods strength but Gods strength is so powerful and God can give us the power to walk on water or move a mountain, even if we only have faith in him the size of a mustard seed. (I forget where this verse is found but it is somewhere in Matthew)

Strength can take many forms, but the one I aspire to most is described in Colossians 1:11,12 : "strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light" (Colossian 1:11,12) AND: "That He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith..." To me it is the ability to do or overcome anything. Many times it is not enough to have just physical proness or even just the "heart" or will power,it comes from deep within yourself, within your "spirit".To me it comes from believing in something other than myself that will help me.
