I'm 25 yrs. old and there's this girl on JDate.com who I spoke with on the phone last week. We spoke about 30 minutes or so. It was an ok conversation. Nothing great and I kind of thought she was a bit annoying sounding. Also, she kind of seemed a bit high-minded being she's a teacher and sounds like she thinks she knows it all. She was talking about how she doesn't get along with the other teachers and all this other stuff. Still, we agreed we would talk once again to make up where and when we'd meet this Tuesday. I really don't think I want to go out with her after all but I feel a person can be different in person. So, should I give her a chance or forget about it? Incidentally, she mentioned first before we talked that she wanted to meet but I sensed when I brought it up at the end of the conversation she maybe wasn't too thrilled. Of course, I don't really know her so maybe I was wrong. Do you think I should still call her or just forget it?

It doesn't sound like you are really enthusiastic about it. If I were you I would just forget it. Call and cancel.

Sounds like you were both steering away from each other at the end of the conversation….. just being polite. Well since she is a teacher I guess you have to decide whether you wanna be in her class are not.
I think your first impression probably is a good one. You got some feeling she was a little bit annoying maybe a little too high-minded…..
I would drop this class and move on.

I am going to throw the question back into your lap. Did you feel a peace or comfort with her? If not don't waste your time and hers. Did your feel like this is the woman for you as a mate? Did you feel like you would enjoy spending a few hours with her or was she whiny and complaining? You decide. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Do you want to settle for an unsatisfactory fish or go for a better catch?

Hmm..give her another call and gage the conversation by how receptive she was to this question; you said you wanted to meet what do you like to do? that shouldn't be the first question, break the ice then go for it!
