the garage will be less comfortable than you think.
we went through this with my daugher, she moved into the shed
but it didn't last long.
1. where is all the stuff that is currently in the garage going to go?
that is the first problem we had.
2. what about heating/cooling? the garage normally does not get heating and cooling. nor is there usually window to put in a window unit. you can buy heating solutions, but they often don't work as well as central heat.
3. there is no bathroom or kitchen.
4. you proably want nice, thick carpet instead of a concrete floor. buying leftover pieces of carpet would be the cheapest way.
5. i don't think you will stick with it in the long run. do you know or have you ever know anyone with a bedroom in the garage. and why do you think this is?
6. to have it "converted" officially is like an addition on the house and it would be cheaper to move into an apartment. besides, they are never really satisfactory or comfortable and it is a big change to your parents' house. Thousands and thousands of dollars.
Good luck. i went through this as a parent.
i think you should try living down there for a week or so before you make any decisions to spend money on the idea.

Well, the cost depends on how much you want to do to the garage. If you just want to move your furniture and your junk in there, and do the best with what is there, it won't cost you anything. If you want to paint the garage, that shouldn't cost too much, just go to Home Depot and have the room measurements ready so that you know how much paint you need. Carpeting would also be another cost, or you could just get a large rug or two. Heating and cooling is another issue. If the garage is not insulated, you might need to put up some insulation. You might also need to buy a heater and/or air conditioner.
Of course either way, there would probably be a lot of cleaning involved, so you might need to buy some heavy-duty cleaning supplies. Good luck, I hope it works out for you!

THERES A REAL EASY WAY, NAIL THE GARAGE DOOR SHUT. PUT INSULATION BETWEEN THE STUDS AND NAIL PLYWOOD OR PRESSED WOOD OVER THEM, THE LATTER IS THE CHEAPEST. THEIRS MOST LIKELY AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET OR OUTLETS ALREADY IN THERE SO STICK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE BECAUSE ELECTRICIANS ARE EXPENSIVE. FOR THE CEILING, JUST NAIL THE SAME PRESSED BOARD UNDER THE EXPOSED RAFTERS, PLACE INSULATION( THE ROLLED KIND, ON TOP OF IT. MAKE A N OPENING, DOOR-LIKE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE INCREASED STORAGE SPACE THERE, 2 HINGES AND A LATCH, A GOOD LATCH AND ALL THAT REMAINS IS THE FLOOR. SEVERAL POSSIBILITIES HERE, YOU CAN ROLL OUT 1/4 INCK CARPET PADDING, GLUE IT DOWN. AND JUST GET A LARGE PIECE OF CARPET , OR RUG TO ROLL OUT OVER THE PADDING. YOU'LL NEED PRIMER TO COVER ALL THE PRESSBOARD THEN PAINT. YOU DIDNT SAY IF THIS AS A 1 OR 2 OR 3 BAY GARAGE. IRREGARDLESS I THINK SUPPLIES WOULD ONLY COST 200-300 DOLLARS. LABOR WOULD BE MORE DEPENDING ON WHO YOU KNOW. DOES THIS HELP? LOL I CAN SEE MYSELF DOING THIS , BEEN YEARS SINCE IVE DONE ONE, BUT ITS A PIECE OF CAKE. EMIAL ME IF YOU'VE GOT FURTHER QUESTIONS
GOD BLESS

we are in the process of making our garage into a bedroon right now. we are almost done and we are doing all the work ourself. The cost is $2,500. It is a lot of work but well worth it.
staying home has it's good parts, think of all the money you will save on rent, electric, groceries and just regular bills of living on your own.
Good Luck.

Has anybody ever tried cooking with their own semen? About a month ago I got adventurous and decided to fap into the frying pan, using my semen in place of little extra butter I usually put in the pan when I'm grilling grill'd cheese. I didn't notice much difference in flavor when I tried it, although it definitely didn't taste any worse. Last night, however, while in the process leading up to grilling two sandwiches for lunch for myself and my sick mother, I noticed my neighbor's 13 year old daughter changing in the yard next door (our window sort of faces out into the neighbor's yard, the suburban layout of our community is somewhat strange), presumably after getting out of the pool. I got the urge to fap and decided to incorporate it into my cooking again in secret. My mother did seem to notice a difference in flavor for the better - I nonchalantly told her I used a different butter, which in it's essence wasn't entirely a lie, I just didn't specify it was my nut butter. I'm not about to outright lie to my mother. I consider myself a respectable man of principles, you know.

call in a contractor and find out how much it would cost to remodel the garage and get several estimates and then you and your parents can decide from there . good luck and god bless and happy holidays.
