My girlfriend and I both act and think like we are a couple. We kiss, hug, sleep together, say i love you, etc...But she tells me we are not together or we are not labeled as "together" or "boyfriend and girlfriend". She tells me she doesnt want to be hurt and fall into that trap because she believes i will hurt her again. Why does she act this way though?

I think that she probably acts this way because so much pressure is put on the label of "girlfriend/boyfriend". In some ways I think she is afraid of getting hurt and having her heart sliced and diced like sushi. You have to prove to her that you won't hurt her and that her heart won't get sliced and diced, atleast not by you. Explain to her that she might fall into a trap but you'll either be already in the whole or that you'll be there to bail her out.

she has been hurt in the past and dosen't want to fall in love at all ever no matter how good it would be because she knows what the effect might be. If you love her, look her in the eyes tell her that, tell her she dosen't have to love you back, give her a kiss, then leave for a while(just dont crowd her, wait for her to call, not so much as avoiding her as not seeing her) and let her think. If she loves you, she will come to you

She may have been hurt in the past and is afraid that is she puts a certain label on your relationship, it may make one of you feel like you're too committed which can scare some people. If this is bothering you, you should talk to her about it.

girls are scared of getting hurt, especially if they have been hurt b4 by u or anyone else. give her time, but if that doesnt work, bring up 2 her that u feel hurt by the way she is treating u

She likes you but doesn't want to be with you because some guy broke her heart and she doesn't want to feel that pain again. Spend some time with her and let her know that you are not what she thinks you are.

Try doing other things with her, like going to the movie, walks in the park. also try giving flowers. Valentine isn't the only time we should get them. good luck

She probly is not into you or she can't trust you from the last time you "hurt" her.
She is a girl some girls are like this also.
