dogue de boreaux. Or french mastiff. They are beautiful dogs, i used to want one really bad. But after researching them, i have found that they are not naturally as fun loving as hooch. They were bred to be guard dogs, and tend to be dominant. I have found that they are not the right dog for me. Although, i know that any dog can be a great dog, it just takes time obedience and socialization. If you are prepared to have a challenging dog, then i'm sure they can be great dogs, but i know i can't handle a dominant dog.

I personally know a retired trainer from MGM that helped train this exact dog. When they needed the dog to slobber real bad, the trainer used egg whites. The dog's name was Reggie. Yes, he was identified already: Dogue de Bordeaux, also called a French Mastiff
