Does it hurt? I heard it was the most painful part to pierce is that true? I'm getting one tomorrow and I just wanted to know so I could be prepared.

It hurts, but in my opinion its not the most painful part of your body to pierce. However, pain is relative and how I feel it isn't how you will feel it. I speak only for myself when I state that it hurt and yes my eyes watered a bit. Generally, it will sting a bit and if you've had an ear cartilage piercing, its somewhat comparable.
Just expect a little sting and overall the piercing procedure itself isn't bad. What will be a pain is for the next 5-14ish days, your nose will be rather sore. You will want to clean the piercing well and be careful blowing your nose until you adjust to having a piercing.

actually a nose piercing isn't as painful as you have heard. If you have ever had your cartilage pierced it it like that. It will sting for a few after they do it then feel pretty warm and red, but in a couple days it will feel alot better. I think one of the most painful piercings is the tongue or lol, nipples... hope this helped :]

It hurts a teensy-tiny bit but it's most definitly not the most painful place! It's really not too bad but you will tear up because the piercing usually goes through a nerve that'll make your eyes water.
Just as a side note, do not let them use a gun on you. Guns cannot be sterilized in autoclaves and carry a risk of you catching infection or disease. If they want to use a gun ask them to use a needle by hand instead. If they refuse, leave.

Depending on your pain threshold, if U can tolerate it, the most is juz a sting and a sneeze.
If U cant tolerate slightest pain, why bother goin thru' it?
I got mine done using a "gun" 4 years ago, its still as good.
Compare to ear or tongue piercing, it's juz a different experience!

It's not that bad. It pinches and it made my eye water, but other than that it's not much on the pain scale. It can take quite a while to heal though. And if they try to use a gun, run away. It can shatter the cartiledge.

a nose piercing is pretty painful,but not near as painful as a tongue piercing.you should be prepared for pain though.

i have had mine pierced twice! i thought the cartiladge was wayyy more painful than the nose. your eyes will automatically start watering but other than that you will be fine! they do use a big needle though!

Why do you want to do that? You'll just be one more person with a nose piercing. Before long, you'll wonder why you bothered. It's nothing you'll want to have for long.

yeah it hurts. but not that bad. the belly button hurts more and takes a lot longer to heal. just keep it clean. i developed allergies and had to take mine out.

my sister got her nose pierced unprofessionally with a gun.. it didnt hurt her,, only when someone hits her there.. dont be scared its worth it and believe my sister is a puss..
