I have installed Ad-Ware, by Lavasoft. It deletes several instances adware/spyware, but every once in a while, i get the same websites popping up. One is "Heavy.com". Anyone have any other suggestions?

do what i do - run several programs that deal with spyware. just adware won't help that much, spywareblaster is a program that stops certain programs from opening. spybot has an inner program that does something similar

i wrote a guide a short while back - maybe you should give it a read - http://www.fileupyours.com/files/67092/spyware%20problems.html

okok calm down man...i have ad-aware also but i dont use it anymore cause i have vista and yeah....forget that story...lets get on with your story...you should always try different software...go with webroot, spyware doctor, and ad-aware they should be able to do the job along with Spybot... i basically never deal wtih spyware cause im always safe with the protection of two antivirus. 3-layered firewall's, and a whole lot of anti-spyware programs ...i love to have strong security our computers are too vunerable know...always try to do the job with more anti-spyware softwares ALWAYS! one can never be to much...

Spybot is the only anti-spyware to use.

Most of the others delete your spyware and then ad their own.

No one program will do it all. HitManPro
(http://www.hitmanpro.nl/hitmanpro/)

It runs ALL the best anti-spyware programs sequentially - automatically. - INCLUDING CW SHREDDER
plus HitManPro adds its own software.

It's literally the best.
