I'm black, and I live in a predominately white area. I date men of all races; skin color doesn't really matter to me. But the problem I have, considering where I live, is that most white guys want white women. :(

To be frank, if someone really likes you, they will look at you as a person, not a color. If women are telling you they don't want to date you because you are white --no matter their own color-- then you don't want to date them anyway. Value yourself ;)

Also, you don't need to be "hard" or act a certain way, you just need to be yourself :) Be courteous, be thoughtful, but you want a woman who will accept you for yourself. :)

I quess it depends on where you live. I live in Southeastern Michigan. There's plenty of mixed couples. Keep trying if black women are the apple of your eye. I'm sure you'll run into the right one. It's not only about skin color but personality.
