I'm a Christian and I've NEVER believed in those faith healers, I remember my daddy being a very sick man when I was young sending money for the healing clothes and so on, these healers "prey" on this and I really think it's a shame...

i'd say that you 2 can end the dispute in case you both search for God about each and every thing. locate out what he needs you to take element of (music, television, communities, and so on.) by prayer and how he perspectives issues and bargains with human beings by interpreting your Bible. The extra you do those 2, the further you'd be sparkling on what's evil and what's reliable. I pray you come back to a similar knowledge. that's God's will that you be at peace and team spirit with one yet another, so that you'll be able to fulfill your purpose in one yet another's lives. Sidenote: I once had a negative reoccuring dream about my significant different and requested God to take it away if it wasn't authentic. i have not had it in view that. only a similar, my significant different became having those loopy desires about some unusual boom or blob for over 10 years. We prayed that he would by no ability have those desires again, and he hasn't! We knew they weren't from Him in view that he took them away.

Sorry to say that the devil has people posing to be a healer of Christ but their real purpose is to cause doubt in the minds of people like yourself. Jesus said in John 14:12 I say unto you, He that believes on me, and the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. This scripture gives Christians authority to do healings through Him. Understand no man can heal anyone except God heal through a yielded vessel.

Well; some are and some are not! It all depends on the faith. That is what Christianity is based on period! Without faith it is impossible to please God! So, I do believe that a person can be healed of anything! It has happened before and it will always happen! But as far as a man healing someone else, well it depends on the intention and trust of the individual doing the praying for the healing. God heals! Not man! You know some churches do scam!! Some do not.

I remember when Oral Roberts bit the dust over that and he had so much money he was able to keep mostt of it quiet, but television found him out. He was healing the same people over and over in the different cities and this one got caught getting healed on TV after thousands saw her getting healed in another town.
Look at TV a preachers and healers as wrestlers; they are all in the intertainment business. The wrestlers just make it look more real. and hav bigger muscles.

very fake,
Timothy II 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
John I 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
John II 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

If you believe pro-wrestling is real, then I'm sure you have no problem believing the Christian miracle healers on TV.

I'm not familiar with each and every one of them but the ones I am familiar with are described by Peter in this prophetic passage that he received from God's Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

I have to agree when I view those shows with preachers who claim to have a healing power my opinion ....they are a fraud and I think it is sad how they are deceiving innocent people who have hope in their powers and on top off it they feed off these people and get thousands in donations. Financial gain.
God doesn't work through them those are the false prophets that will get theirs in the end.
