We was crucified on a cross, died, buried in a tomb, rose (resurrected) on the 3rd day - according to the Scriptures - Old Testment and New Testment. He ascended back to His Father, God. He is alive and sits at the right hand of the Father, Jehovah God now. He is real - real as you and me. Blessings.

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas (Peter), then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time..." (I Corinthians 15:3-5)
"To these (apostles) He presented Himself alive, after suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking of the things concerning the Kingdom of God" (Acts 1:3)
"And after He (Jesus of Nazareth) had said these things, He was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky, while He was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them: and they also said 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come again in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.' " (Acts 1:9-11)
