The next time he says it - tell him he's racist. Come back at him with good arguments, do your research!
And ask him where his people came from......obviously from the legacy that they left - they must have been pretty stupid too.

I think your teacher is just mad that our neighbors are crossing the border illegally. As a tax-paying citizen, I suppose he has a right to be bitter, but I think it's inappropriate for him to so openly say that he hates Mexicans and Canadians in class. I also think that his anger towards the illegal actions that some Mexicans and Canadians take is spawning into a hatred for them ALL. But that's a personal problem that he needs to resolve himself.
If I were you, before I went to the principal or my mom or pulled out a camera, I would approach him after class and tell him that his racist remarks offend you and that you think they are inappropriate. If he doesn't stop, then go to the principal.

He may be anti-Mexican or anti-Canadian, but he's not a racist. They're both of the same race as he is. He would have to be anti-himself.
Tell him that you know a guy on Yahoo answers who thinks Mexicans and Canadians are great people so long as they're not law breakers.

Yep. A teacher should never air his personal grievances like that to the class. He's racist and an idiot to boot. Have your parents talk to your principal about it. If you can catch him doing it on tape all the better. If that doesn't help go to the school board.

If this is true than he should be reported to the Principal because he isn't setting a very good example for you students.
We are trying to get rid of racism, not promote it.He should keep his opinions of this subject out of the classroom.

Obviously if that is the exact language he uses, he's got issues. Either speak to him directly, or to a guidance counselor. If you are really fed up go to a Board of Education meeting, they usually have two minutes for anyone who wants to say something.

Tell your momma. If she is anything like me this teacher will not have his/her job in a week.
If your mom does not do anything about it go to the guidance counselor. If he/she does not do anything, E-mail me i will call the school and see why they have a racist teacher there. This is America no person especially a child should have to deal with racism. AT ALL AT ANYTIME!

I don't know if "racist" is the correct term.....maybe "ignorant horse's ***" is better. Try taping him and giving the tape to your school principal. Or just write it down and pass it on to an administrator.

he's bordering on it-but definately should keep his views to himself instead of warping young minds over it-I'd tell your mom and have her tell the principal-sounds like your teacher thinks he has an audience not a class

Tell someone with power or speak up to him about it. He can say it is illegal for people to immigrate without permision (that's a fact) but he can't say they stink.
