We've never met each other in real life, but we used to talk on the computer all the time.
Kind of flirty actually, but I went all throughout the summer and gah like 3 more months without talking to him because he never IMed me and then I wanted to IM him but after so much time had passed I didn't want to because I felt like it would be awkward.
Then one day I recieved a myspace message from him and I was so happy and I told him so. We talked a tiny bit and then I said I'm glad we're friends and he said just friends?
and i explained to him yes, because especially when you don't IM me anymore. And then he didn't message me again.
I want to get the courage and find some way to stand up to him and send him a message telling him that if he can't talk to me more often then don't talk to me at all because I really like him but I feel ignored and it hurts.

I'm not sure this really qualifies as "treating you bad". You've never even met. How can you be hurt by someone you don't know? I'd concentrate more on meeting someone in the real world.

oh please, you are not having a relationship with him you dont even know him. what is the problem????? leave him alone and find someone else to IM with.
