Easy..show them some literal proof. Dig up some real evidence that evolution never happened and that we were created by some supernatural being. Show them that it's science and dinosaurs that are the improbable and that religion is reasonable..when you can do this...you win..you will have converted the heathens.
The problem? You can't do this..because then you eliminate the need for faith and that is what religion, especially Christianity, is based on..beliefs in something you can neither touch nor see..
My question would be..why would you wish to convert someone? In order to save them from the fires of hell? They don't believe in hell, and probably don't feel need of retribution..so..it would be my advise not to flog a dead horse..you cannot change the minds of people that have already made them up.
Remember, non-believers are just as convinced that their own personal set of beliefs are reasonable as you are about yours. There may be a few that sit on the fence that you are able to draw over to your side, but the vast majority know their own minds and aren't going to budge..and why should they? they are fully entitled to their own ideas..whether or not you or anyone else agrees with them or not.

How do I persuade a believer in god to grow up and just live their life with pure integrity therefore not need a god. You will feel free, happy and able to deal with what ever comes your way.On your own, not with the help from someone that does not really exist.
remember my friend, believing in anything and a dollar with get you a ride on the NYC subway. or maybe its $2.- now.

Do nothing, knowing truth is a personal journey, its the relationship we have with god, and no one has the right to change others, would you like someone to do it to you? When a person is not interested and you go on persuading you will be avoided finally, Do you want this? Dont you know this?

You can't.
As a confirmed non believer I have to tell you that belief is not something that anyone can give to another. Were I to see some proof of God I'd then know he existed but that is not belief. I can no more believe in God than believe in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus. There is as much proof for one as there is for any of them. Anything you can attribute to one you could attribute to any of them.
I don't say this to mock I say this in earnestness. If you pointed at someone surviving a great fall or some other miracle and then said "that shows God exists" I could say "No it is a sign that fairies exist and do us good deeds." and there would be no more proof than for any other being.

YOU lay down your bible.
YOU read the complete history of the Christian(or islamic) religion . You by now have discovered that a person's religion depends where he/she lives(it's environment.).
So having found out that if you were born in Saudi Arabia you would be a Sunni muslim, hate Americans. If you were born in France YOU WOULD LIKELY BE A CATHOLIC, still despise Americans but not as much as you did before discovering 20% of you population are muslim and want you dead .
If you were born in India it's a good chance you are e by now a Hindu, and despise Americans for eating your dead grand parents as you think your relatives reincarnate as animals.
If you are an American Indian you may be christian but it's likely you are of a tribal religions with gods for water, animals, wind, fire, thunder, the sky, earth etc.
So by now as you work on your history you realize that your religion depends on where you were born, who your parents and relatives were.
If you still believe in the christian view of God by now than you are hopeless.
But if you want to still convince me than prove god exists and I will gladly convert and become a minister immediately. But you can't just use quotes from th Bible as it's all man made and man written for man and ;
The main conclusion which is undeniable is that both the bible and Koran exist mainly for the persecution of women. That was the intent to began with.

Coco, do you think you could be persuaded to lose your belief in God?
I didn't think so.
So what makes you think that atheists are any less firm in their belief?
I believe that the concept of God is man-made. I am so convinced of the truth of my belief that nothing you can say could change my mind.
The best thing, in my opinion, is for all of us to leave our fellow men alone with their beliefs. You cannot expect to "save" the world. Practice tolerance and let us go in peace.

See, non-believers are not violent and stubborn people trying to persuade YOU about anything, right? They let you believe what you believe, right? So why do you zealots then feel the need to abuse others and force everyone into your beiefs? Do you really envy non-believers on their freedome of thought so much?

The same way I can persuade a believer to be an atheist. With difficulty. At least I have logic and reason on my side. All you have is a book and faith.

First find out what you believe in is the Truth. Contrary to common belief, logic can be and should be applied to religion. Would God want us to do irrational things?
After you find out the truth, it will strengthen your faith and then you can go about helping others.
