For heaven's sake... understand the concept of Hell and Heaven(;-)

Understanding the whole concept of Heaven? Heaven that is also called as Swarga in Hinduism is the stage when our Atman the soul within waits for a suitable body for it to manifest again. This Atman the soul within has a balance of positive merits due to which it remains in heaven (Swarga).

Any Atman the soul within that has a negative balance of merits is awarded hell, also known as Naraka in Hinduism. Naraka (hell) is also the stage when our Atman the soul within is in waiting for the next manifestation to occur.

Briefly, it can be stated, that if we have the balance of positive merits from zero to plus hundred we shall be awarded the stage of Heaven (Swarga) after our "Atman, The soul Within" has left the mortal frame. However if the balance of merits is between zero and minus hundred our Atman the soul within shall be given a place in hell (Naraka).

Heaven (Swarga) and hell (Naraka) are interim stages in the cosmic Life cycle of our Atman the soul within. The moment this Atman the soul within gets matching parents on Mother Earth... it shall again manifest a body... the body can be that of a Human Being and also of an animal depending upon the balance of merits or demerits possessed by the Atman.

As stated clearly in the Bhagavad Gita... the foremost of all sacred scriptures (the doctrine dictated by Lord Krishna to King Arjuna in the battlefield of Mahabharata between the Pandavas and the Kauravas... no Atman the soul within can directly gain immortality from Heaven.

Lord Krishna is considered as an Avatar (a direct incarnation of God) in Hinduism. He descended on Mother Earth roughly 1000 years before Bhagwan Mahavira, 1077 years before Gautama Buddha, about 1500 years before Jesus Christ and about 1700 years before the advent of Prophet Mohammed. My experience has been that many, many "believers" are boring, self-serving ( and yet self-denying) people. I don't believe in hell (which I think of as a boogeyman to scare people into action) but I would rather there was a third choice where good people got to hang out at like a big nightclub for eternity. You know, some really cool place with an awesome bartender and good music. It would always be quiet enough to talk-- the conversations would be great (people like Darwin and Michaelangelo around) and the drinks are always free.

Off to the back would be a library where there are only banned books, another room would have a pork and shellfish buffet. And every Friday--prime rib.

But the best, best, best part would be there would be no argument about religion. You can spend eternity, playing a harp or whatever, but the rest of us--the people who didn't kill anybody, tried to help others around us without judging them, and hoped to be better people without the enforced guilt of a god construct--can relax.

I imagine the feeling would be like the contentment one feels when they've finished babysitting a brat and finally send them home.

So, yeah, I hope you pick the right one, too.

Well since I view the earth as hell most of the time with the senseless killings, war and famine I think I would choose to be in heaven where none shall suffer and there will be everlasting joy and peace, we all to much miss out on the joy of god. Don't anyone here get it twisted with drug/booze induced joy. Trust me the two are VERY VERY different!!

The life is what you're making your self. in case you enable it to bypass in that's personal way, it is going to fall someplace and reason misery. All are literally not so fortunate to stay a contented life leaving it in that's personal way. you could say that there is not any human being in this international with out dealing with the stumbling blocks of negative forces. They continually awaits to everyone and everywhere. in case you do not plan, in case you do not take precautionary measures, you could lose your human being luckiest life. you will see human beings residing a contented life even in poverty. They set their minds in that way. The contented ideas cause them to to stay a contented life with what they have. They delight in what they were given and experience chuffed even as others delight in with what they did not or won't be able to get. human beings are ruled by spirits. Spirits own human beings in accordance to the psychological state of the human beings. that's an all time phenomena happening in all human beings. human beings are continually lower than the effect of spirits.

Heaven. And I believe just like the rich man even those who say hell now will be screaming begging and pleading to join us there..

Luke 16:22-24; (v22) and it came to pass that the begger died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom; the rich man also died, and was buried.
(v23)and in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
(v24)and he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, that he my dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tromented in this flame.
(v25) But Abraham said son remember that thou in thy life time receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou are tormented
