I think I was a about 13, but never really knew the true meaning of being a christian until I was an adult in my early 20's. I'm 37 now.

I accepted Jesus and the gift of salvation when I was a young girl. I wandered in and out of the right path though as I aged. I tried to do it all myself and ended up pregnant and living with a man who beat me pretty much daily. He even broke a door with my back during my 7th month. Anyway, I came back to God and told Him I was sorry and that I realized I needed some guidance along the way. I am now married to a wonderful man and we have 2 more children. I almost died a few years ago, as in if I had gone another 24 hours without nutrition my body would have given up. I had already had a couple of my body functions become severely impaired to the point of almost total shut down. I believe if God had not wanted me to make it I would be watching my children grow up from Heaven. I am almost 100% back to normal and God helps me get better a little more each day. I can never repay Him but I will never walk away from Him again.

Feb. 1996...
I had been raised in a abusive home, my father committed suicide and then I married a abusive man and had three children, I began to drink at the age of 26, by age 30 I was hooked on prescription painkillers, my husband was killed in a car wreck, and I had no place to look to except UP to Jesus. I had hit the bottom of the barrel. And through his Love and Mercy I have been changed and continue to be changed daily. It was not until I accepted Jesus who was born of a virgin, and lived as man, and died for all men. Did I realize how good life is. Though I still face the same daily test and still have bills to pay and still get my feelings hurt. I when I lay my head down at night can sleep a peaceful rest, because I know that I have chosen today to strive to read the word of God, meditate the word of God, apply the word of God to my life, ask for forgiveness nightly and ask him to show me my sin that I might be able to change my ways that I might hear him say well done my good and faithful servant at his return for us. I pray daily that I might receive his heart of compassion towards all man kind that I might be able to be a light for him in a dark and dieing world.
Though I chose to live for Jesus I know it is not a overnight change from evil to good, so I respectfully seek his face daily..
Thanks for Listening..

Christian to the core. Have been a Christian since I was three years old. Knew that when I was sitting in Bible School and listening to the stories of the Bible about Jesus. I was only three years old and remember all of it. Remembering how I will always , Love Jesus !

I received Jesus when i was 12.But did not walk with Him until I was 20.I was living a very wild life style and empty.I went to church with a dear friend, and realized I wanted to have a life full of Jesus and not the emptiness of the so called High life that I lived.I have never gone back, and would never change how he has filled my life with real meaning. Its been a wild ride, but Hes been here all the time.I thank Him for His loving kindness, forgiveness, grace, endurance, hope, miracles, love, eternity, family, meaning, all that He has given me.

I accepted Jesus as a small girl of six years old. Although I have had a pretty hard life growing up, extremely poor, having no heat etc. God has clearly had His hand on my life and protected me. I am thankful everyday for what He has done in my life. Now that I have children it's a blessing to be able to pass on my faith and beliefs to them and watch how their own faith has taken wings.

Sure...It was in May 1976 I attended a revival and gave my heart to the Lord. My husband had an old aunt and her buddies that wouldn't quit praying for me.

There was too much evidence for a god. So I conclude that there was a god. Then my wife came to God. So I believed that there is a God. Then I came to a saving knowledge of God. Then I believed in God. Now I believe God!
