My boyfriend and I have been in a monogamous relationship for about a year and three months. About two months ago, he started a myspace page and said that he was only creating it to make people more aware of his music, which was completely fine with me. Well I went on his page and i viewed the friends that he has and the majority of the girls live in our hometown. I asked him who they were and why he felt the need to have these friends if he has a girlfriend. He told me that it is okay for him to interact with people on the computer as long as it wasn't cheating. I told him that I dont think its right. He also said the reason he has so many girls on his page is that he need to add women to his page to draw attention from other people. The women that he has on his page are on single and look exactly the same and their pictures are very sexual. Am I overacting or is it okay for him to meet new friends on my space ?

but jsut watch out.
if there is commenting between a girl and your guy read it.
it theres any flirtation, confront him.

Well, do you have a myspace account where there are males on it, other than family only? If you do, you can't expect him not to have the same.

Furthermore, most of those "single women that pose sexy" are fakes. They invite everyone to be their friend to try and sell something. I wouldn't worry about that too much.

And lastly, if you try to control who he can and can't be friends with you will lose him, most definately. No one should have someone hoovering over them telling them or guilting them which people can be their friend. Just cut him some slack. If he has it in his mind to cheat, he will do it no matter what you say or do.

It's OK as long as he doesn't meet his female myspace friends in the real world or "cyber" with them online. Also, check some of the girl's profiles - if they're "cam girls" (girls who pose naked on their webcams) - and there are a LOT of cam girls on myspace, ask your boyfriend to delete them!

a lot of girls have at least one or two provocative pictures. it is absolutely fin for him to have female friends. you are being jealous and getting worked up over nothing. some will probably comment him saying he is cute or hott, too. sometimes, you just have to ignore this sort of stuff. as long as he doesn't cheat with any of them, you're okay.

i think u should trust your boyfriend more. let him have other friends "that are girls" or else he will think u are to over protective. u can also lose his trust if u think he will cheat on you. let him have some freedom. dont make him feel like he cant talk to any other girl and make him dump you
