Can second-hand smoke from pot make you fail a drug test?

Like if you're in the same room or outside near people smoking pot, will it make you fail a drug test?

They have done research on this. In short, in order to make a person test positive, they had to confine the person in a small closet and fill it with so much smoke that they had to wear goggles to stay in the closet. Then they only testified marginally positive.

It is extremely unlikely that you would ever be in a similar situation.

For those who have claimed that's how they came up positive -- well, it makes a good story that some people might believe.

No unless you are in a confined space with heavy concentrations of smoke,you can have traces of THC to a considerable amount in your system and still pass the test,its actually found in most green plants in small amounts,its the percentage they measure and if you were in a rehab like I was,then they measure down to the Nano-scale and your screwed,but Ill tell you its great being sober ( 1 Year clean,20 years of use and I could beat tests easily,I conciously chose to fail one and thats how I cleaned up

Dude. Change your friends, change your life!! If you fail the test, perhaps you should beat up your loser friends and then have them arrested. What are you doing hanging out with them anyhow?? It's probably your own fault if you fail it, but it's absolutely no excuse if you do. Pot=illegal=jail time. Remember that... Don't be a loser.

In enough quantities yes. Look at Ross Rebagliati. He was a snowboarder for the Canadian team and they took his medal away because he hung out with people who were smoking up and had a tiny amount in his system.

No, it won't. There will be such a small trace of it in your system that it will be bearly non-existent. It's not like you were inhaling straight off the joint or bowl.
