technically, if you take literally what a s.o.b. means, yes. if you take a male dog as a dog and a member of your family, you don't think of him in that light. yes, they can, also be aggressive, and sometimes even arrogant, but they are as lovable with kindness as their female counter count. you have them as a dog, not as a sex.

Every male dog I've had has been. That's why I only get female dogs.I have only had 2 male dogs. (1st one died) And my second one after being 6 months potty trained walked up to my bed and hiked it's leg and peed on my bed. Needless to say I got rid of it. So yeah all male dogs are like that. There may be a few good ones but they are very hard to find.
