Okay, here's the story...In the summer my mom and my oldest sister had an argument, and from this argument many things have been happening. When they had this argument, my sister said some things she never said to my mom in her life. She said,"I've been hating you for a very long time." And like my mom, I mean she's a mom, she was shocked and petrified. But the thing is, this was outside, and everyone was around. My sister kept yelling that she was going to call DCFS on my mom, because my mom "supposedly" abuses my brother who has Cerebral Palsy. I live with my mom, brother and grandma, and my mom does nothing of the such. But this is the thing, my sister has been going around to different people (strangers and extended family) spreading rumors like my mom had sex with my cousin, and that that same cousin is my brother's father. My sister claimed she was going to call a meeting, because she came up with some term paper, and that she was going to represent my brother in court???? HELP!

I'm just emotionally drained from all the chaos that goes around in this family, and it is quite necessary. And it's no one elses fault, but my sister, because she has always been jealousy of my mom and I for some apparent reason.

And also, my mom said she was going to call 'The State,' because not only is my sister spreading so many false lies, but my mom has some dirt on my sister. My nephew *my sister's son*, told my mom that she has been into some drugs, and so has her husband and daughter. My sister has a DayCare Center, and yeah..

Talk to the police and tell them your sister is spreading false accusations.

Wow! First off, I'm sorry that you have to go through this. About your sister; It seems to me that there are some deeper problems than you are saying. Maybe because you dont know what the problems are, but your sister might have had something tramatic happen to hear such as being abused or maybe sexual abuse. If none of that has happened that you know of. Then she is mentally ill and should get some help because she might be Bipolar. Im sorry if couldnt help you but you should really just get her some help cause it sounds like she has something wrong mentally and needs to be fixed. Good Luck and once again I'm sorry that you have to go through this!

Wow, I feel bad for you! Your sister is having some major issues with your mother and I'm betting there's more to this than what you know about it.

The very best thing you can do is not to take sides. Be there for each of them, but stay neutral.

Your sister really needs to talk to a professional about her hurt and anger. I hope she does because something like this can leave emotional scars that last forever.

Wow, what was the argument about?
I think that she is just very upset. Are you and her on speaking terms? If so maybe you should talk to her one on one. Try to show her that she is going way too far, its one thing to say, and its another to do. Try to get in touch with DCFS on your own and explain what is happening. And if all else fails maybe your mother will have to get involved with some legal help. sorry that this is happening to your family.

It sounds to me that your sister has some issues internally she must work out. However, you cannot change your sister but you can find ways to cope with her. I would suggest contacting a local crisis center or hot line for your area. He/she may be able to give you the tools to learn how to cope with your sister and how she is treating your family right now.

I think who really needs psychiatric help is your sister, she might be not on her right mind when she accuses your mom of something that never happened, tell your mom to forced her to go to a psychiatrist , seriously, and if this is not true don't worry you and your grandma could be her witnesses. Good Luck!!

I have a one word solution for you. It's called counseling. If you cannot afford one, I'm sure one can be provided for you. Just check your local state funded mental health center.
