it seems like teenage girls would rather be with a jock that treats them like $H!T then a regular guy who would do anything for them.

A lot of teenage girls have low self esteem, so they don't think they deserve to be treated well, and they expect to be treated badly. Also, they may have seen their mother treated this way by mom's husband or boyfriend, and they think it's "normal" for men to be abusive to women.
Some of these girls will grow out of this and learn to love men who treat them like a lady.
And some of these girls will grow up to be women who love abusive men, and think nice men are "wimps" (and those women will raise daughters who will date men who treat them like crap - and the cycle continues)

Who are you to say that? It's not like you're with the couple every waking moment.
I hate it when men always blame the women. If you're accusing an entire gender of something, then YOU are the one with the problem.
I'm a teenage girl and I have never been attracted to the jocks, I've always been drawn to the geeky guys. They're more appreciative and intelligent.

Not me. Most girls only want popularity and fame. They dont care what they have to do to get it. Feel sorry for them though. In 10 years when they have been divorced 3 times and cant get a reasonable husband and you are married to a beautiful woman, they will be begging to go back in time. Trust me.

It's all about self perception. Plus TV tends to make "bad boys" look good when all it does it show that they female has low self esteem and they both need help. BUT, it's not all just some. Not even most.

because the jock is cooler, and thats what they're about at that age. but don't fret, their are more fish in the sea. and all girls aren't like that. though dating when you're young is so messed up. you're just learning. they don't know any better. And don't be the guy who'll do anything for his girl. at that age, you'll just get your heart broken.

they don't like the way they're treated but the infactuation that they have a "boyfriend" is why most of the time they stay. because sadly they don't have the confidence that allows them to believe that they can be with someone else.

well, they probably like the attention, or they are caught in a cycle of being emotionally abused, then feeling bad for him (and believing him) when he apologizes like crazy. You don't want to be with girls like that anyways, they typically have relationship issues.

Because they're really exciting and challenging, and we generally don't know what is good for us. When you get right down to it, we want someone who won't treat is like $H!T but it usually takes a couple awful relationships for us to figure that out.
THEN we date the good guys.
