in our home and thinking about going with granite floors...is this safe for a kid???

Throughout the whole house???????????? Just have a playroom set up for your child with a nice warm carpet for them to play on. Granite is pretty cold looking, not to mention feeling, wouldn't be my choice of flooring.

Pretty expensive, right??? It's also very cold! Are you planning to put heating under the floor? Kids do fall on any kind of floor, but granite is unforgiving. Do you plan to put throw rugs down?

It's not like they don't play on concrete. Granite floors will be fine.

Okay....well, we had marble flooring and grew up there from the time I was born till 7.
