ok what if i'm trying to get a movie on windows movie maker and it says this
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Monty Python And The Holy Grail.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
what the hell do i do????

are you able to play the avi on your computer using windows media player? if you cant, then you are missing a codec (in this case, a decoder). is the file in divx format? if it is, then head over to divx.com to download the codec

Well, i think u need a codec, its a program that helps your computer read that type of file. get... cole 2k media pack. seach google for it.
