I'am starting to notice my hair starting to thin at the top of my head. It doesn't look that bad yet...I can still style and it's not that noticeable unless you look directly at the top of my head. The front of my head still has pretty thick hair that's why it is not noticeable. What things can I do to help slow it down before it reaches the front portion of my head? What foods should I eat or habits should I change or implement into my daily activites? I already know about drugs such as finasteride and minodixil. Finasteride is too expensive and I don't know if I could use minodixil on the area where I'm going bald(it's not really @ the vertex of my head, just directly on top of my head). I heard it replaces the hairs with "rogaine hair" which only grows to half an inch to an inch and is hard to style and you have to apply it every day, day and night.

Start growing the sides longer. That way when you go bald up top, you can make a cool comb-over...good luck

I heard from my facial lady that rubbing it with Brandy (the liquor) will work...she said to rub it on unwashed hair for about 15 minutes and then wait about half an hour and rinse.
