No it doesn't.
When my boyfriend and I started going out, he'd kiss me on the forehead.... also on the hand. It was really sweet.
It doesn't have to be on the lips. I think it's more romantic when the first kiss is not on the lips. It shows how much he cares for you and is being careful, seeing your reaction first, so he knows whether or not to move on to the lips. : }

My first kiss was on the cheek and he asked me if he could first. It was really cute and I look back on it better than my other first kisses on the lips with other boyfriends.

It depends on how long you have been together. Lips is more passionta, but the cheek wouldnt be bad if you still are getyting to know him.

that depends on ur age mostly. then the circumstances ur in at the time...ie public b-day party or a movie date goodnite kiss. details should determine this greatly......
