I am doing a report on women in the military, and part of the report, I have to discuss specific traditions for women in the military(i.e. special songs, sayings, customs, etc.). I have searched and searched, but have found nothing but what kinds of jobs and roles women have had(which is good, because I need that too). Does anyone have any knowledge or traditions women have while serving, or past traditions? Maybe a link? Thanks.

I just finished (Friday) taking a tour of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) museum on Ft. Lee, VA. Amazing - it was absolutely impressive. Just as impressive as the museum is their website which includes history, traditions and even has an oral history section listed. I liked it below for you.

Women in the military try pretty hard to do the same things as the men, I can't think of a single thing that was for women only while I was in the Army (00 - 06).

I am a former female Marine and I can't remember any specific female only things that were done. Most women in the branches just try hard to fit in with their Male counterparts. Sorry.

I was in the Army back when there was a Women's Army Corp (WACs). There is a museum in VA that just opened recently. They might be able to help.
