Anything whatsoever Jesus wanted to do in any and every situation no matter what, I would stand with Him and follow His lead. It would be the Will of The Father because Jesus does only The Will of The Father and if you wanna know The Father, you have do know Jesus...because He is The Way, The Truth, and The light! I really don't think God would send a "Political" leader to "Wipe out non-believers."
(The idea of God's kingdom is Messianic, not political. And J.C. didn't even have a sword when he spoke God's word. Even his Disciples asked him, "When are you going to build this kingdom?" And he told them "it is not on this Earth.")
