Hey Cleo!
Well if a man says his ex wife's name more than once, its apparent that he either still thinks of her, or still has feelings for her. If he keeps on name dropping, then you should ask him what is the 'deal', and if his answer isnt good enough, you have to be upfront with him and re-evaluate your relationship. Only you know if its worth saving.

Five times is really alot, once or twice is still ok...
but 5! Oh my...
I would say you will want to find another guy, unless you really have fall for him. Then there is nothing much we can do but to pray that you two will be able to work things out.

He'll be calling you that name forever if it's the same as yours.
Why don't you make it clear how long you've been seeing each other and how long he was with her.
Habits are habits. They are easy to acquire and hard to change.
I can't answer you without more info. People who say they can have their own issues.

It sound like he's pre-occupied with unresolved issues with his ex and just not quite or totally over her. It may take some time. Don't hate him, but talk to him about it and let him know it is hurtful to you, so he will mind himself better. You are not his ex and he should not compare you to his ex.
He must appreciate you as unique and special, or risk losing a relationship with you.

Just remind him who you are, and say Well you sure must miss your ex, since you keep calling me by her name. From now on when you call me by her name, you have to give me $20.00. Now lets see how many times he does it!
