Neptune - There is no satan and even if there was, why would I listen to it? And why have you named yourself after a Greek god?

If God wanted us dead, do you think he would have to have his lackeys do it?
Angels would be a far better army, more discipline and they complain less. Plus, they have experience with this sort of thing.

stunning solutions this time -- from the two factors. yet you have made a undesirable assumption, my pal, one that no *real* dream stuff entity could make! You anticipate that "God" and "Bible" are in a roundabout way related to a minimum of one yet another. in case you study the bible (close to the verses you point out) in the unique language, you will notice that nowhere does it point out the stag horns, eco-friendly leaf cloak, golden candle, advantages of air and hearth, etc. not one of the flaws linked with the only real God on my altar. needless to say, "thou shall no longer go through a poisoner to stay" comes no longer from a genuine god. What it is going to declare rather is "thou shouldn't pour poisonous insecticides down the drain the place you reside because of the fact it flows downstream into the rivers and oceans". (Duh!) thank you for making a reliable factor even clearer. additionally thank you for the link. ### heavily, I do accept as true with Chicago Bob relating to the conflict lords. And PhilosophyAngel gets my vote for BA so a techniques.

No, if we did receive such a command, it would not be God. We are commanded to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And also we are commanded to love others as ourselves, needless to say that does not involve killing people. Hey, just remember that God love you. And even though we all don't deserve it He still loves us. The bible says in John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life".
Think about it God loved enough to send His Son to die for us! And why do we need Jesus to go to heaven, because that little white lie (example) (that time we decided to do it our way instead of God's) the punishment is going to hell. ANd to make matters worse, even if we don't do those things, because Adam the first human (the father of all humans) made the choice that he made, we go to hell even if we don't! You see God is a holy God and doen't want sin near Him.
But that's why He sent God the Son, Jesus to become fully human, (though he was still fully God as well, the book of Matthew says in 1:20b-25, "20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a] because he will save his people from their sins." 22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"[b]—which means, "God with us."") to die on the cross for your sins, so that you don't have to deal with that punishment, and you can be close to God. That's exactly why God sent Jesus to die on the cross for you. So you could go to heaven and be with Him. What's more is you can know God here on earth too. All you have to do is accept what Jesus did for you and that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

of course I would listen, but because of free will, which he gave us, I would have to say no. Why would god ask us to do that, is a better question?

God is not going to appear to anyone and tell them that. If you're going off into field of imaginary what if's, what if Satan appeared unto you and told you to kill all believers, would you try to do it. Please!

Thou shalt not kill. God does not break His own laws and He would not ask His followers to break them. Silly goose.
