Why do the woman folk have to sit at the back and pray while the men are all at the front?
You would think this sort of sexist behaviour would have been done away with years ago!
Tsk tsk you would think that they were following rules from a book from ancient times that have no relevance today by or something .

There is equality in the Masjid for women. Women are treated with respect in Islam and they are given a high status.
Let me ask you something, why do they call man the head of the family in all religions and even in western countries?
Muslims pray 5x a day and if Islam made it a duty for women to go to the masjid for each prayer then they would find it so difficult. But in Islam women are not required to go to the Masjid except unless they will. Men are required to go to the Masjid. Women get the same amount of reward as men.
And the reason women pray behind men is because in Islam men and women don't mingle and socialize which causes much mischief. The Masjid is the place for worship and men and women separate on that because so they can concentrate well!

OK you can answer this, why aren't Christian women allowed to speak in Church? (1st Corinthians 11:3-12)
In church women must cover their head, becuase they were made in the image of man? (1st Corinthians 11:33)
Why don't women have the authority to teach men and why do they have brith pains agian (1st Timothy 2:11).
And not only muslim men but all men are weak in this sense you see the white van drivers who are not so discreet horning and whistling and women as they walk past. Why are you hating just becuase it makes sense? Explain the above quotes from the bible and tell me where women are treated unfairly?

Islam told us that Hawa (Eve) was made from Adam bone, and women need to be loved and care as they're part of Adam bone. By this, men is fully responsible to help women in any mean that necessary.
Why women at the back ?. To teach them to respect men who is their fathers, brothers and husbands. It's a foundation before marriage where a husband, later, a Dad will fully responsible on his wife & family. So, a wife should respect the head of the family.

In Catholic churches, women used to be segregated from the men. This is no longer the case. The enlightenment that will ultimately lead to the abandonment of religion will lead to equality within mosques first.

I've been to a mosque and we had a dark screen placed so the men could not see us and we were placed behind the men. I did feel it was demeaning personally and an insult to men that they cannot control themselves at all apparently. It just isn't something i understand. Now the Sikhs had men and woman sit on opposite sides, not together and everyone had to cover their heads. That did not seem offensive to me.

A prayer is about submission to God with complete devotion and concentration. Lets be practical, we all know that if women are praying in front of us then men would be concentrating on things they shouldn't be! This fact holds as much true today as it did 1400 years back. Wake up!

and the reason why women sit at the back is because the Muslim woman doesn't want men looking at her bottom why she is praying.its a case of modesty.but in most mosque the women are in separate rooms anyway.so it doesn't matter whether they are front or back

In Islam the women pray behind the men so as not to tempt them. Same reason they wear veils. Makes men sound kinda weak, huh?

Because Muslim men have the right idea, and of course woman's brains aren't as big as a mans, so they are obviously second class citizens. daaaa lol
