How do I know if he likes me more?

if he looks at you w/ sort of a a dream eye, laughs at your jokes, talks to you a lot, flirts w/ you

and if you want him to want you make him chase you, pretend like you dont care about him or what he does..works for me everytime ;)

You have to be brutally honest with yourself in that matter. I mean, try and see how he acts when the two of you are alone: either studying/working together, or in a social event, since there is a huge difference oh how guys behave in these settings. Second of all- does he talk about other relationships that he had? is he interested in one at the moment? of he does, try and see what is his "type". While you are trying to "fish out" this information, try and throw some hints in his directions- try and let him know that you are single (of he doesn't know yet), hint that you are enjoying his company that you should do things together more often and see how he reacts. If he is responding positively- meaning, if he tries to spend as much time with you as he can and if he shows interest, you can "casually" ask him to go to a movie, just the two of you, and see how it goes- how he reacts. You really don't have to go out of your way and ask him what he wants, I'm sure that if you show interest (not too much, so that you won't appear too clingy) he will either show interest himself and have more guts to ask you out, or just deter and keep your friendship on low fire as a sign that he is not interested in something more than friends.
