How can you get a popular guy to talk to you if your not so popular yourself and he likes you?

Why can't he just talk to me I mean he's popular and everything but just because I'm not doesn't make any sense I mean I'm pretty sure he does like me because we saw each other at a public park and all he was doing was smiling he had a girlfriend this year but their not together anymore. he does act silly in class alot when I 'm in there but I'm too shy to even look him in the face can you help me out and tell me what I should do at this point I'm helpless I need a person who can give me some tips please ?

just try talking to him. if u cant even talk to him then u two shouldnt be together. u should make the first move and start talking to him and start get to know him. good luck
